CHEMISTRY
CHAPTER ZERO I taught a teacher who turned off her reasoning powers when asked about atoms. I think a student deserves a really good answer when he/she asks "Why should I accept atoms as real?" I thought about providing compelling experimental evidence for atoms to prehigh school students. I thought about helping students to develop visualization skills, to learn to "see with the mind without seeing with the eyes". I thought about what I really wanted to get across about chemistry to an audience of pre-high school students.
